Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iuri Rezende got the match started through his kick off. Iuri Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eliézer da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iuri Rezende spun around in front of the goal 5 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Papaokena's goal. Corredores's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Romário Maia scored to the left of an out of position Enéas Saraiva, making the score, 1-0. Papaokena's Eliézer da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Rezende in the 14th minute of play. If Romário Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Marquinhos Urbano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Enéas Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Cipriano Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Maia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enéas Saraiva came out and tried to block the shot, but Romário Maia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. When Benjamim Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papaokena's protests and gave Benjamim Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. Eliézer da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Rezende in the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Iuri Rezende made a precise shot to the right of Eliézer da Silveira. Papaokena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Eliézer da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Rezende in the 43rd minute of play. Corredores's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Romário Maia 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romário Maia made a kick off. Cipriano Netto hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Rezende in the 54th minute of play forced Papaokena's goalkeeper Eliézer da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Rezende who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Eliézer da Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romário Maia succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. When Benjamim Mazza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After 64 played minutes Papaokena got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Mazza. Claudinho Veiga, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 66 minutes, Edvaldo de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papaokena and the Corredores players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Papaokena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Papaokena's zone, Armandinho Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer da Silveira came out of the goal and Armandinho Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papaokena's goalkeeper Eliézer da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Iuri Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corredores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Papaokena's zone, Armandinho Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer da Silveira came out of the goal and Armandinho Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Rezende in the 83rd minute of play forced Papaokena's goalkeeper Eliézer da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliézer da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Rezende in the 85th minute of play. Iuri Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iuri Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
