After a defensive mix-up in Palame's zone, Iuri Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Eger came out of the goal and Iuri Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdo Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iuri Rezende's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Cipriano Netto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Iuri Rezende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdo Eger was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Armandinho Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdo Eger. After 53 played minutes Palame got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Silveira. In the 56thth minute of the game Iuri Rezende who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palame's Valdo Eger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Iuri Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palame's Valdo Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Rezende in the 83rd minute of play. In the 91st minute, Cipriano Netto made a precise shot to the right of Valdo Eger. Palame's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
