Rubens Donatello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Adilson Monteiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, FLAMENGO's Adilson Monteiro threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rubens Donatello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guga Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Malaquias Fut Art's goalkeeper Adilson Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubinho Bittencourt. Malaquias Fut Art's Adilson Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Bittencourt in the 16th minute of play. Thomás Vinhas's late challenge caught a FLAMENGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Malaquias Fut Art's Thomás Vinhas got a free kick in the 35th minute. César Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Gugu Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Franklin da Cunha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 48th minute, Rubinho Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Rubens Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute.
