Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chiquinho Cardoso started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's zone, César Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Valladares came out of the goal and César Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomás Vinhas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Chiquinho Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Monteiro having to interfere. Nildo Zanette hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Dedê Reis fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malaquias Fut Art's protests and gave Dedê Reis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, one of Malaquias Fut Art:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Malaquias Fut Art. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's Alexsandro Rossi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adilson Monteiro. In the 22nd minute, Hermínio Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovanni Peres during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Peres. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Bittencourt in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Breno Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malaquias Fut Art's César Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, César Romero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's Lúcio Valladares. Lúcio Valladares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 34 minutes, Hermínio Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malaquias Fut Art's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute César Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malaquias Fut Art's Adilson Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Cardoso in the 45th minute of play. Adilson Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Cardoso in the 46th minute of the match. Dênis Soeiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Dedê Reis in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Lúcio Valladares's left hand side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermínio Bittencourt made a kick off. If César Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Giovanni Peres hit a great ball. César Romero in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lúcio Valladares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dedê Reis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB. Alexsandro Rossi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adilson Monteiro. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chiquinho Cardoso in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adilson Monteiro saved Malaquias Fut Art from getting behind. After 77 played minutes SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Viana. After some careless play in the Malaquias Fut Art defense, Fabrício Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adilson Monteiro. The Malaquias Fut Art fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Alexsandro Rossi missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Adilson Monteiro right hand side. In the 98th minute Chiquinho Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute, Fabrício Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
