Luiz Fábio Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fabiano Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Maciel having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Viana scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrão Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedrão Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Viana in the 10th minute of play. Anísio Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anísio Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ermida's Anísio Pombal got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Luiz Fabiano Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Luiz Fábio Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RhuanFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrão Maciel was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Luiz Fábio Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Maciel having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Viana took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrão Maciel. Pedrão Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luiz Fabiano Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Maciel having to interfere. Pedrão Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Matos in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Correia during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. RhuanFC's Fabinho Correia got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Fabinho Correia off the ground. Eliseu Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Palmeira in the 61st minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pedrão Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Ermida got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Santos. With a little luck, Ermida's Pedrão Maciel got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Aníbal Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Luiz Fabiano Matos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the RhuanFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Matos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ermida's Serafim Baiano got a free kick in the 76th minute. Raí Mendes took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrão Maciel. Pedrão Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Pedrão Maciel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Matos in the 84th minute. Pedrão Maciel made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Fernandão Machado sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Luiz Fabiano Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. RhuanFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fábio Viana might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrão Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fábio Viana ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of RhuanFC booed when Ermida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Mumbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fabiano Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pedrão Maciel made a huge save. RhuanFC played a much better game than Ermida and deserved their victory. The Ermida players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
