Antônio Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Benjamim Castro sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Jeferson Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match, Benjamim Castro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antônio Pinheiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 54 minutes into the match, Timoneira's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Cardoso came free, but Gustavo Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Barros made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tiago Favoretto however managed to control. Frederico Gonçalves scored 0-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
