Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lino Viana kicked off to start the match. Jeremias Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Dionísio having to interfere. Jeremias Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adalberto Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rdth minute of the game Adalberto Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chavantina's Ulisses Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giovani Pirani struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Paulo Renato Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chavantina. Lino Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Alves having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When Jeremias Linares came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Chavantina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Linares couldn't finish the play. If Adalberto Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Adalberto Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ulisses Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Renato Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Massa in the 70th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Luiz Fernando Massa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Renato Dionísio. After a defensive mix-up in Torneiras F.C.'s zone, Jeremias Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Dionísio came out of the goal and Jeremias Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Chavantina's Ulisses Alves got control of the ball when Adalberto Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chavantina's Ulisses Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Sanches in the 84th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes Torneiras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Pereira. After 93 played minutes, Chavantina's Celso Pimenta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Renato Dionísio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chavantina reached it. Adalberto Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
