Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tarcisio Machado started the match with the kick off. Dudu Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in IbiraCity's zone, Cipriano Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Carlos Abreu came out of the goal and Cipriano Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dudu Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Cabral having to interfere. With a little luck, IbiraCity's João Carlos Abreu got control of the ball when Adalberto Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adalberto Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Machado in the 20th minute of play. If Dudu Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalberto Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Abreu having to interfere. If Dudu Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tarcisio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, IbiraCity's Tarcisio Machado got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Apeu's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Machado came free, but Válter Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Dito Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apeu and the IbiraCity players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Dito Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Rafa Berger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válter Cabral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Apeu's Adalberto Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Adalberto Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Apeu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Salgado couldn't finish the play. Dudu Braga in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Válter Cabral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 66 minutes in the game, Tarcisio Machado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Válter Cabral having to interfere. In the 71st minute Tarcisio Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcisio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Válter Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of IbiraCity booed when Apeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dudu Braga struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Válter Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IbiraCity. After having played for 80 minutes, Dudu Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IbiraCity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Abreu having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Dudu Braga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dudu Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Machado in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válter Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Apeu succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though IbiraCity had controlled the match.
