Rony Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Abel Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Xavier made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Vitinho Abraão sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th match minute, Panelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pancas AD booed when Panelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamantino Nascimento hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Pancas AD's Rony Maciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Xavier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matheus Valladares, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Panelas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Rony Maciel scored to the left of an out of position Abel Xavier, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Rony Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pancas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rony Maciel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Abraão in the 53rd minute of play forced Panelas's goalkeeper Abel Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rony Maciel in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Xavier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Brasil in the 60th minute of play forced Pancas AD's goalkeeper Carlos Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Jefferson Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pancas AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panelas the free kick. Jefferson Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Rony Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rony Maciel during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Rony Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Maciel in the 74th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Xavier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diamantino Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Pancas AD's Vitinho Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pancas AD's Vitinho Abraão in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panelas's goalie prevented a goal. Pancas AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
