With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tião Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Deivid Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mathias Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Ceresso's late challenge caught a Fioropolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Charles Ceresso hit a great ball. Fernando Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deivid Marquez took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Linares. Mathias Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fernando Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Fernando Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO's Mathias Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deivid Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Linares having to interfere. If Fernando Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tales Camargo to make the kick off. Gláuber Faustino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Camargo in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Charles Ceresso hit a great ball. LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO's Mathias Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Marquez in the 61st minute of play forced LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO's goalkeeper Mathias Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Rossi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Fioropolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Simões to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO's goalkeeper Mathias Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Cabral. After some careless play in the LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO defense, Fernando Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias Linares. The LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Linares should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, one of LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LARGUEI POR FALTA D TEMPO. Inácio Sarmento shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fernando Cabral struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mathias Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fioropolis. The Fioropolis players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
