Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nilton Rossi took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerson Britto during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute of the match Donato Koehler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Ortiz skillfully saved the ball. Nilton Rossi struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Oswaldo Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babidi FC. The supporters of Babidi FC booed when Valentin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Reginaldo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilson Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Ortiz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Babidi FC's zone, Reginaldo Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Simões came out of the goal and Reginaldo Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reginaldo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Váldson Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Nilton Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Babidi FC and the Valentin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Babidi FC's Nilton Rossi got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute, Cláudio Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Váldson Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nilton Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Valentin's Reginaldo Velasco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Váldson Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luís Fabiano Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Reginaldo Velasco took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Váldson Simões. Váldson Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Emanuel Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Ortiz having to interfere. Oswaldo Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes Valentin got a freekick which was hit by Roberto da Rocha. Reginaldo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Simões having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin's Ediberto Pena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Váldson Simões. That made the score 0-4 after 81 minutes of play. Luís Fabiano Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Ortiz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Valentin's zone, Luís Fabiano Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Ortiz came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Luís Fabiano Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babidi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 92 minutes, Nilton Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babidi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although Babidi FC had been in control for most of the match, Valentin still came away with the win.
