Jefferson Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquinhos de Almeida scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrício Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Calembar EC booed when CHAPECÓ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. CHAPECÓ FC's Fabrício Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Prado in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Jefferson Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind CHAPECÓ FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Jacinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jefferson Prado got free with Fabrício Jacinto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Dino Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CHAPECÓ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Fabrício Jacinto had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marquinhos de Almeida from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Juvenal Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHAPECÓ FC's protests and gave Juvenal Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes CHAPECÓ FC got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Cabral. The supporters of CHAPECÓ FC booed when Calembar EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Marquinhos de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
