The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Guimarães in the 4th minute of play forced Farpao's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Dagoberto Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Fidelandia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duda do Nascimento came free, but Luiz Fabiano Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fabiano Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda do Nascimento in the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Fidelandia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Ferraz came free, but Luiz Fabiano Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Guimarães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zé Augusto Prado, 1-1. Fidelandia FC's Luiz Fabiano Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Moura in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fidelandia FC's zone, Caco Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fabiano Valadares came out of the goal and Caco Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Guimarães to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Caco Moura fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sydney Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zé Augusto Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Zé Augusto Prado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fidelandia FC. Luiz Fabiano Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farpao. Caco Moura kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 76thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Fidelandia FC's keeper Luiz Fabiano Valadares was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 84th minute, Sydney Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarbas Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Zé Augusto Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Guimarães in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Duda do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Farpao players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fidelandia FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
