In the 16th minute, Farpao's Duda do Nascimento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Duda do Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duda do Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Farpao defense, Erivaldo Ceresso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Augusto Prado. The Farpao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Augusto Prado should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s goalkeeper Diego Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Moura. Jarbas Coelho's late challenge caught a Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Farpao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duda do Nascimento to make the kick off. Percy Paes hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s zone, Jarbas Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Zanette came out of the goal and Jarbas Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Farpao's Zé Augusto Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Farpao from getting a goal against them. Elói Cunha hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Erivaldo Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zé Augusto Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Augusto Prado came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s Eurico Meirelles. But to his dismay, Eurico Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Diego Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Zanette didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Farpao's Duda do Nascimento shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute.
