Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wellington das Neves started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Dagoberto Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Império Galático's Anísio Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sydney Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anísio Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anísio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Guimarães in the 19th minute of play. Dagoberto Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes, Fausto Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fidelandia FC and the Império Galático players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Fidelandia FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Santos. 31 minutes into the match, Fidelandia FC's Dagoberto Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anísio Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Norberto Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Império Galático's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fidelandia FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Império Galático got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Netto. In the 35th minute of the match Jean Trancoso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anísio Mota showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Duarte Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sydney Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Império Galático's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Guimarães came free, but Anísio Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anísio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Santos in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Guimarães to make the kick off. If Sydney Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anísio Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney Cerezo went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luiz Fabiano Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington das Neves in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Pernambucano in the 66th minute of play forced Fidelandia FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Luiz Fabiano Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Império Galático's Wellington das Neves made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fabiano Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Fidelandia FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fausto Santos hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Wellington das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Império Galático's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Betinho Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Valadares having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fidelandia FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
