Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Olívio Cabral made the kick off and thus started the match. Fábio Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Toninho Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toninho Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taguaracu's Toninho Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Porto in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Paratudal's Giuseppe Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toninho Koehler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toninho Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Veiga in the 15th minute of the match. Fábio Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio da Cunha's late challenge caught a Taguaracu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paratudal's Basílio da Cunha got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 29th minute, Rafa de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Toninho Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Taguaracu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Carvalho was a little too slow when Olívio Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Taguaracu's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Porto came free, but Toninho Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Taguaracu's zone, Giuseppe Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Koehler came out of the goal and Giuseppe Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toninho Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Veiga in the 56th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Taguaracu got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Loureiro. In the 65th minute, Taguaracu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Giuseppe Porto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute Fábio Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Giuseppe Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe Porto went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Rafa de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Carvalho having to interfere. If Basílio da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taguaracu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
