Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamim Branco. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Benjamim Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Giuseppe Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Benjamim Branco made a huge save. Falcão de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caco Arce during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paratudal getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Caco Arce hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes, Joazeirinho's Marcus Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hílton Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Joazeirinho reached it. With a little luck, Joazeirinho's Benjamim Branco got control of the ball when Giuseppe Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Paratudal got a freekick which was hit by Carlos de Azevedo. After a defensive mix-up in Paratudal's zone, José Pedro Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Carvalho came out of the goal and José Pedro Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamim Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Fábio Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Branco having to interfere. The supporters of Paratudal booed when Joazeirinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benjamim Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fábio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Paratudal booed when Joazeirinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuseppe Porto in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamim Branco saved Joazeirinho from getting behind. When Paratudal's Fábio Veiga in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Caco Arce was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Paratudal's Caco Arce got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fábio Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naldo Perez during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Joazeirinho booed when Paratudal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When José Pedro Santos came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Joazeirinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Santos couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Oséas de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giuseppe Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Branco having to interfere. Joazeirinho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
