Egídio Dracena scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matheus Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Barros's late challenge caught a Ipueiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Barros helped the player get up and apologised. 86 minutes into the match, Monlevade's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Mattos came free, but Matheus Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Vasconcelos was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Patrick Mattos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
