Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roger Soares kicked off to start the match. Almir de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Giovanni Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Roger Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin da Fonseca having to interfere. When Ricardo Motta fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Passarinho SS's protests and gave Ricardo Motta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Passarinho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Motta to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Almir de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Passarinho SS's Roger Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th minute Valério Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Passarinho SS's Roger Soares in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gerinaldo's goalie prevented a goal. Roger Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Franklin da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Gerinaldo got a freekick which was hit by Joel Leme. Franklin da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Soares in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Roger Soares sped through Gerinaldo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franklin da Fonseca. The supporters of Gerinaldo booed when Passarinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfredão Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Gerinaldo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão Lucas couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Almir de Salles took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Giovanni Quirino to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When Tião Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Gerinaldo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tião Jacinto couldn't finish the play. When Almir de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerinaldo's protests and gave Almir de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Almir de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roger Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Franklin da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Soares in the 71st minute of play forced Gerinaldo's goalkeeper Franklin da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tião Jacinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovanni Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Franklin da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Passarinho SS's Valério Nogueira. But to his dismay, Valério Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 82 minutes into the game, one of Gerinaldo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Soares in the 90th minute of play forced Gerinaldo's goalkeeper Franklin da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir de Salles in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Valério Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passarinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Passarinho SS defense, Tião Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni Quirino. The Passarinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni Quirino should have stopped the shot. Passarinho SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
