Arcoverde SC's Ramiro Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Baiaozinho got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Faustino. The Baiaozinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Campidelis should have stopped the shot. Yan Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Yan Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Simão in the 31st minute of the match. Davi Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Yan Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arcoverde SC's Ismael Félix got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ademir Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Campidelis having to interfere. Raimundo Amaral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tales Campidelis. Baiaozinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Simão in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Catarinense saved Arcoverde SC from getting behind. Davi Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davi Simão to make the kick off. Arcoverde SC's Yan Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Simão in the 54th minute of play. Baiaozinho's Tales Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Baiaozinho from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Silvério Coelho notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Arcoverde SC's Yan Catarinense. Yan Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd match minute, Baiaozinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Faustino to maneuver through the defense. If Davi Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Arcoverde SC's Ademir Pereira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tales Campidelis. Tales Campidelis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Orlando Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ramiro Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Arcoverde SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Tales Campidelis made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ramiro Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Tales Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Ribeiro in the 82nd minute.
