In the 12th minute Donatello Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatello Arantes in the 14th minute of the match. With his leg Duarte Perez managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Rebojinho FC's Zacarias Vidal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anísio de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorian Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Amorim in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Bezerra in the 54th minute of play forced Itacutiara's goalkeeper Duarte Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donatello Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Duarte Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatello Arantes in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Severino Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anísio de Souza hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rebojinho FC's Patrício Lopez tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Zacarias Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Donatello Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Donatello Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebojinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatello Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dorian Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itacutiara.
