The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Dudu Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Loreto AD's Dino Quadros got a free kick in the 6th minute. Marcelinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Alvarenga in the 7th minute of play. Deivid Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Hílton Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camarao EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hílton Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With a little luck, Camarao EC's Douglas Paranaense got control of the ball when Dino Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Douglas Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Paranaense having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Hélder Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camarao EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loreto AD the free kick. Hélder Porto hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Ademar Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sabino Messias fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camarao EC's protests and gave Sabino Messias a yellow card for diving instead. Sabino Messias hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Dino Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute of the match Tiaguinho Linares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelinho Vander skillfully saved the ball. Guto Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Loreto AD's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Alvarenga came free, but Marcelinho Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Quadros might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Paranaense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dino Quadros ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Dino Quadros made the kick off in the second half. Ademar Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Paranaense having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Aloísio de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camarao EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loreto AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Camarao EC's Aloísio de Barros got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Marcelinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hílton Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marcelinho Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Marcelinho Vander made a huge save. After 65 minutes, Ademar Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loreto AD and the Camarao EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Loreto AD got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Simões. In the 84th minute Dino Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Camarao EC's Hélder Porto got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Camarao EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Messias to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Camarao EC booed when Loreto AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Camarao EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
