Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lauro de Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vicente Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Vides in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Lauro de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Pulse F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Guerra came free, but Marcel Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pulse F.C.'s zone, Nelsinho Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Coelho came out of the goal and Nelsinho Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vicente Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho da Silva hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Vicente Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro de Almeida in the 22nd minute of the match. Nelsinho Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Coelho having to interfere. Lauro de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Trancoso having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustão Ortiz to make the kick off. When Lauro de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Pulse F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro de Almeida couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gambas's Marco Seco got a free kick in the 59th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Pulse F.C.'s João Adolfo Lago tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Ortiz in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Coelho saved Pulse F.C. from getting behind. Marcel Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Guerra in the 64th minute. If Faustão Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcel Coelho made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nelsinho Guerra sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Gambas's Faustão Ortiz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcel Coelho. That made the score 0-2 after 79 minutes of play. A collision led to Pulse F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. João Adolfo Lago hit a great ball. Marcel Coelho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marco Seco. 92 minutes into the match, Pulse F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Ortiz came free, but Marcel Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Faustão Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
