Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Prestes started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Prestes in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulinho Salles saved Figueirense F.C from getting behind. Fausto Prestes struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Paulinho Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jandaia. Figueirense F.C's Paulinho Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Prestes in the 12th minute of play. Artur Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Osvaldo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Albertino Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Paulinho Salles made a huge save. With a little luck, Figueirense F.C's Paulinho Salles got control of the ball when Albertino Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jandaia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexsandro Batista in the 71st minute. Jandaia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
