The supporters of Asdiubal booed when Barris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Asdiubal's Marcus Alcântara got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Barris's Kauan Bastos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Délio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eusébio Nascimento got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Asdiubal. Luisinho Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Luisinho Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Luisinho Pombal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asdiubal's Raí Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Asdiubal's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Pombal came free, but Raí Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisinho Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raí Moura having to make a save. Barris's Délio Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Barris's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Nascimento came free, but Dráuzio Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Pombal in the 33rd minute of the match. João Adolfo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Eusébio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Pombal in the 37th minute of play forced Asdiubal's goalkeeper Raí Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barris's Luisinho Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Adolfo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Salgado having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Pombal was the one to do the kick off. Eusébio Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dráuzio Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Délio Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Moura having to interfere. When Délio Barros came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Barris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Délio Barros couldn't finish the play. Luisinho Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Moura having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Luisinho Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Délio Barros struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Raí Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barris. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Figueiredo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barris's Wiliam Figueiredo got a free kick in the 78th minute. When João Adolfo Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Asdiubal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Adolfo Barreto couldn't finish the play. If Luisinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Asdiubal's Raí Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Barros in the 89th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Barris's Luís Eduardo Viana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raí Moura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiliam Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Barris's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
