Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Meira got the match started through his kick off. Arthur Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 4 minutes, Jaime Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quixeramobim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armandinho Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Machado having to interfere. Aníbal Donato hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thiago Freire struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hamílton Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amorinopolis. Hamílton Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Freire in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Marcus Mumbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Armandinho Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armandinho Toledo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Machado saved Amorinopolis from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Amorinopolis got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Félix. Hamílton Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Mumbach in the 35th minute of the match. Hamílton Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hamílton Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Jaime Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Marcus Mumbach made the kick off in the second half. Hamílton Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Freire in the 53rd minute of play. Marcus Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurício Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Thiago Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Marcus Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amorinopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Mumbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Armandinho Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hamílton Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Mumbach in the 84th minute of play. Arthur Machado made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Armandinho Toledo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Amorinopolis players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
