In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelandia's goalkeeper Edinho Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Mumbach made a kick off. Edinho Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Mumbach's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Edson Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Baiano in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Edinho Cordeiro made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Zelandia's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Mumbach came free, but Edinho Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Edson Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zelandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
