Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Simão Prestes made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Benjamin got a freekick which was hit by Diego Mesquita. Dráuzio Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Hermes having to interfere. Duda Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Délio das Neves in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Antunes in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duda Maia saved Carapajo from getting behind. Armando Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Maia having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Carapajo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Carapajo booed when Benjamin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Carapajo's Nando Cardozo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gilson Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Carapajo booed when Benjamin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The long shot by Christian Mattos in the 42nd minute really tested Duda Maia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 43rd minute, Nando Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match, Armando Antunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duda Maia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes into the match, Benjamin's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Vasconcelos came free, but Gilson Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Armando Antunes made the kick off in the second half. Armando Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Duda Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Armando Antunes sped through Carapajo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Duda Maia. Vitinho Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Benjamin booed when Carapajo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Vasconcelos during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armando Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Duda Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin's Armando Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Délio das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Maia having to make a save. Armando Antunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duda Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilson Hermes came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Carapajo's Dráuzio Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Benjamin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
