Armando Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. When Armando Antunes got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Toninho Miranda was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Délio das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Benjamin got a freekick which was hit by Armando Antunes. Toninho Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Antunes in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio das Neves in the 28th minute of play forced Iuri FC's goalkeeper Toninho Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With an all-out effort, Iuri FC's Gilson Hermes threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tales Furlan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Antunes to make the kick off. The Benjamin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Benjamin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
