Luís Gustavo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Magalhães having to interfere. Nuno Lopez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Ferquim's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Sarmento in the 19th minute of play forced Ferquim's goalkeeper Eduardo Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho Couto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Green Label United's goalkeeper Telmo Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Lopez. Luís Gustavo Nunes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 38th playminute. When Nuno Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ferquim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Lopez couldn't finish the play. Luís Gustavo Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Telmo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Nuno Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Luís Gustavo Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With 56 minutes on the clock, Fernão Maranhense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Ferquim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Green Label United a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Renan de Senna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ferquim's Eduardo Souza. 3-1. After 63 minutes of play, Ferquim's Clemente Soeiro made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Telmo Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Soeiro in the 74th minute of play. Telmo Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Lopez's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Diogo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Telmo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Green Label United getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hamílton Britto hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Ferquim's Nuno Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telmo Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Clemente Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Magalhães having to interfere. Ferquim's Nuno Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
