Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sidney Paraense took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Geraldo Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agostinho Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 10 minutes, Lucas Goiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espinilho EC and the Marvado PartiuforaMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute Geraldo Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edu de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Adalberto Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marvado PartiuforaMZ. Sidney Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Adalberto Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Paraense struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Adalberto Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marvado PartiuforaMZ. Adalberto Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Paraense in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalberto Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rodrigo Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinilho EC's protests and gave Rodrigo Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. Sidney Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Geraldo Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes of play Espinilho EC's Lucas Goiano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 39th minute, Lucas Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Teles having to interfere. Edu de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adalberto Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marvado PartiuforaMZ. Geraldo Medeiros's late challenge caught a Marvado PartiuforaMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geraldo Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Agostinho Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Espinilho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu de Toledo in the 58th minute of play. Adalberto Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Paraense in the 63rd minute of the match. Sidney Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marvado PartiuforaMZ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Caetano Marquez hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Espinilho EC's Luiz Fernando Magalhães tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Paraense in the 73rd minute of play forced Espinilho EC's goalkeeper Adalberto Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney Paraense struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Adalberto Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marvado PartiuforaMZ. 91 minutes into the game, Edu de Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Adalberto Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 97 minutes into the game, one of Espinilho EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Marvado PartiuforaMZ. Amílton Xavier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adalberto Teles. 3-1. Marvado PartiuforaMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
