When Giovani de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Endrique001 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani de Castro couldn't finish the play. Cícero Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Simão Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Moreno having to interfere. When Guapiassu SC's Simão Quaresma in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mário Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Moisés Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guapiassu SC's Simão Quaresma suffered a sore knee after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Toninho Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Endrique001's protests and gave Toninho Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the game, one of Endrique001:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Guapiassu SC a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nildo Prata, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Endrique001's Moisés Moreno. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mário Prestes made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Guapiassu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Renan de Sousa came free, but Cícero Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan de Sousa in the 78th minute of the match. Guapiassu SC's Rafa Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Endrique001's Flavinho Tinoco got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Mário Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Moreno having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Mário Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zé Pedro Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani de Castro got free with Cícero Paiva in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mário Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Guapiassu SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
