The wind increased when José Augusto Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlindo Neiva got free with Armandinho Goiano in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cafemirim's Armandinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Queirós in the 56th minute of play. If Lucas Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armandinho Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cafemirim's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Vítor Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Geovanni Xavier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Francisco Matos. Sergi SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Xavier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Armandinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Lucas Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sergi SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cafemirim were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sergi SS for a fine match.
