Wanderson Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vicente Mangueira made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Side Rock Club's zone, José Carlos Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisinho Matorin came out of the goal and José Carlos Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Cordeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vicente Mangueira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zé Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Matorin having to interfere. Luisinho Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Geovânio Matorin might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisinho Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovânio Matorin ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovânio Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Dark Side Rock Club's Wanderson Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Mangueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Dark Side Rock Club's Marcelinho Furtado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vicente Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Matorin having to interfere. Vladimir Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dark Side Rock Club's Vladimir Recife got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 94th minute, Wanderson Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macaoca AD were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Dark Side Rock Club to leave the ground with a draw.
