Franklin Pontes scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fernando Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th match minute, Barroada EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Pontes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Fernando Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barroada EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Cavalcante scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eriberto Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Erasmo Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Barroada EC's Fernando Leite in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galácticos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aílton Chaves's late challenge caught a Barroada EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barroada EC booed when Galácticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Erasmo Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galácticos FC's Erasmo Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Leite in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Galácticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Leite came free, but Erasmo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Leite to make the kick off. If Fernando Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Leite in the 60th minute of the match. When Fernando Leite came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Barroada EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Leite couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Eriberto Cavalcante was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74th minute, Aílton Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Eriberto Cavalcante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Marquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erasmo Marquez was a little too slow when Fernando Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-3. After 87 played minutes Barroada EC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Leite. If Fernando Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Galácticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Leite came free, but Erasmo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barroada EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
