The referee showed Arí Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robinho Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Edgard Tróia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience held their breath when Leandro Sena in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Edgard Tróia's left hand side. In the 63rd minute Robinho Mattos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Gilmar Prado's late challenge caught a Vitoriana EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilmar Prado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, ViKinGs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Prado to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Sidnei Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vitoriana EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
