Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giovanni da Silveira started the match with the kick off. Celso Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Jimeno Iraido scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th match minute, Galos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Tomatemáticos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Donato came free, but Frank Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Tomatemáticos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Trancoso. The supporters of Tomatemáticos F.C. booed when Galos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernão Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Alcântara in the 31st minute of play forced Galos's goalkeeper Edvaldo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvaldo Varela made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Giovanni da Silveira sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Donato in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Pitta saved Tomatemáticos F.C. from getting behind. Giovanni da Silveira's late challenge caught a Galos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tomatemáticos F.C.'s goalkeeper Frank Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simão Alcântara hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Carlos Fernando Donato made the kick off in the second half. If Carlos Fernando Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Daniel Alcântara notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Galos's Edvaldo Varela. Edvaldo Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Iraido in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando Donato in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Donato in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Galos's Celso Lopes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Pitta. Frank Pitta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Oscar Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Varela having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Galos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
