A very good chance. When Samuel da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipamery's protests and gave Samuel da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Emboscada SC booed when Ipamery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisinho Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Emboscada SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernão Saldanha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 19th minute, Samuel da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emboscada SC's Luís Paulo Dionísio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Emboscada SC from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Ipamery's Luís Paulo Dionísio threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuel da Cunha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitório Tande to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Paulo Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernão Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Paulo Dionísio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto da Mata's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Luís Paulo Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
