Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rodolfo Sabóia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Carmopolis SS's Vítor Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flávio Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Maranhense in the 9th minute of play forced Jeriba SC's goalkeeper Flávio Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vítor Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Carmopolis SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Nelson Leme hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Sabóia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jeriba SC's Flávio Teles. Flávio Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Roberto Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiaguinho Favoretto in the 20th minute. Eduardo Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carmopolis SS's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Moreno during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiaguinho Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zé Roberto Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vítor Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rodolfo Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmopolis SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39thth minute of the game Rodolfo Sabóia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jeriba SC's Flávio Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodolfo Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Flávio Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmopolis SS. In the 44thth minute of the game Eduardo Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carmopolis SS's Zé Roberto Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eduardo Veloso made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flávio Teles having to make a save. Rodolfo Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Teles having to interfere. Amauri Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Jeriba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. 62 minutes into the game, one of Carmopolis SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Jeriba SC. Percival Brasil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zé Roberto Andrade. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Veloso in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flávio Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Saldanha in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Jeriba SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vítor Saldanha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Flávio Teles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tiaguinho Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zé Roberto Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Favoretto in the 89th minute of play forced Carmopolis SS's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tiaguinho Favoretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Andrade was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. The supporters of Jeriba SC booed when Carmopolis SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball.
