Allan Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Toledo having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cassurova's goalkeeper Rafael Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Vasil Kolev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motuca and the Cassurova players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Motuca's Vasil Kolev got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Cassurova's Kaká Dantas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cipriano Toledo. Cipriano Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Allan Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Kaká Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Motuca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Perez to maneuver through the defense. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th minute, Vasil Kolev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Kaká Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Vianna's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Cassurova's Rafael Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Castro in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Cassurova's Rafael Figueiredo got control of the ball when Genílson Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. Motuca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
