The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 57 minutes, Dinei Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Quaresma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dinei Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremyo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Quaresma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gremyo's Didi Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cipriano Toledo. That made the score 1-2 after 95 minutes of play. Gremyo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
