Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Garibaldi EC's Giovanni Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Giovanni Simões's late challenge caught a Taiacui AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Simões helped the player get up and apologised. Agnaldo Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Simões in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Adalberto Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wágner Mandrak was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Wágner Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wágner Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Ceresso in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Adriano de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Simões in the 13th minute of play forced Taiacui AD's goalkeeper Agnaldo Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garibaldi EC's goalkeeper Wágner Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gil Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, one of Garibaldi EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garibaldi EC. When Taiacui AD's Gil Silveira in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garibaldi EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Adalberto Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garibaldi EC's Wágner Mandrak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 35 in the game by Betão Teles from a close distance when the talented Agnaldo Gaúcho managed to make a qualified save. Taiacui AD's players were relieved. Gil Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Mandrak having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adalberto Ceresso was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Taiacui AD's Gil Silveira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wágner Mandrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agnaldo Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Betão Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Agnaldo Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Mandrak having to interfere. Betão Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Giovanni Simões got free in front of the goal in the 73rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Agnaldo Gaúcho was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Adalberto Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wágner Mandrak came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Taiacui AD's Gil Silveira. But to his dismay, Gil Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Betão Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Agnaldo Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Gaúcho having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match, Adalberto Ceresso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wágner Mandrak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Taiacui AD played a much better game than Garibaldi EC and deserved their victory. The Garibaldi EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
