Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manolo Galvão made the kick off which started today's match. Giovanni Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manolo Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Curunhu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Galvão couldn't finish the play. After 27 played minutes Garibaldi EC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano de Salles. When Giovanni Simões came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Garibaldi EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Simões couldn't finish the play. In the 34th match minute, Curunhu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Manolo Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Mandrak having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Ferraz during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garibaldi EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giovanni Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wágner Mandrak having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Curunhu AD's zone, Giovanni Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Tinoco came out of the goal and Giovanni Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovanni Simões in the 57th minute. Curunhu AD's Haroldo Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haroldo Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wágner Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wágner Mandrak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Galvão's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Garibaldi EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Bastos to maneuver through the defense. When Manolo Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Curunhu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Galvão couldn't finish the play. After 69 played minutes Garibaldi EC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Bueno. In the 70th minute, Pedro Augusto do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolo Galvão in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wágner Mandrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 minutes of play, Curunhu AD's Haroldo Moraes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wágner Mandrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fiori Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Artur Tinoco made a huge save. After having played for 90 minutes, Manolo Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curunhu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manolo Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Curunhu AD defense, Giovanni Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Tinoco. The Curunhu AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Curunhu AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
