Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, fc.guarulhos's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Teixeira came free, but Jeferson Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Beto Schmidt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibiracu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carlos Alberto Brasil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cipriano Gaspar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind fc.guarulhos's goalkeeper Jeferson Peixoto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beto Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Peixoto having to interfere. Rafa Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jeferson Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rafa Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ibiracu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Teixeira couldn't finish the play. Beto Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jeferson Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Teixeira in the 41st minute of the match. After some careless play in the fc.guarulhos defense, Beto Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeferson Peixoto. The fc.guarulhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeferson Peixoto should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Geraldo Gaspar made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Beto Schmidt from a close distance when the talented Jeferson Peixoto managed to make a qualified save. fc.guarulhos's players were relieved. In the 53rd minute, Rafa Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beto Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jeferson Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibiracu. Rafa Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, fc.guarulhos's Betão Vale got a free kick in the 57th minute. Rafa Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeferson Peixoto having to make a save. Beto Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jeferson Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibiracu. Rafa Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibiracu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc.guarulhos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ibiracu's Luís Fabiano Rossi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Geraldo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Carlos Alberto Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fc.guarulhos. If Rafa Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Betão Vale fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc.guarulhos's protests and gave Betão Vale a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to fc.guarulhos getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Betão Vale hit a great ball.
