Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. João Paulo Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Martins in the 9th minute of the match. Lindner F.C.'s João Paulo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Arósio in the 11th minute of play. Leandro Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Caburu's zone, Percival Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Luz came out of the goal and Percival Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Caburu's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Pena came free, but Manuel Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Severo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lindner F.C.'s Osvaldo Severo got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Caburu getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tomás Arantes hit a great ball. Percival Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Luz having to interfere. Guto Arósio might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Paulo Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guto Arósio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Telmo Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percival Pena to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Caburu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Percival Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Paulo Queirós made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Guto Arósio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Pena in the 61st minute of play forced Caburu's goalkeeper Manuel Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, José Paulo Moreira took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for João Paulo Queirós to make any attempt to save it. Lindner F.C.'s Percival Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Figueiredo in the 80th minute of play. José Paulo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Caburu's Guto Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Paulo Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Benedito Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Queirós having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Caburu's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Pena came free, but Manuel Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Pena in the 96th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Caburu got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Moreira.
