Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With his leg Pedro Paulo Messias managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Bugi SS's Arnaldo da Silveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th minute Serginho Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo da Silveira in the 16th minute. When Amílton Lara came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Morro Agudo Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Lara couldn't finish the play. Bugi SS's Ricardinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Pitta in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Juninho Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bugi SS's Ricardinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Lara in the 27th minute of play. Serginho Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pedro Paulo Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bugi SS booed when Morro Agudo Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juninho Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Morro Agudo Sport Club's Pedro Paulo Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Secco in the 40th minute of play. Arnaldo da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Messias having to interfere. Pedro Paulo Messias made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Arnaldo da Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Paulo Messias was a little too slow when Serginho Secco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pedro Paulo Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Secco in the 53rd minute of play. When Bugi SS's Arnaldo da Silveira in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morro Agudo Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Zé Pirani struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Pedro Paulo Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bugi SS. Arnaldo da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Walmyr de Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morro Agudo Sport Club's protests and gave Walmyr de Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Walmyr de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Secco in the 84th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Paulo Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Pedro Paulo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Secco in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Bugi SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
