After 45 minutes, Jonathan Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guayanazes SC and the Pirikitos de Água Doce players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Jonathan Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Guayanazes SC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Koehler. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robinho Loyola to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Guayanazes SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Mumbach came free, but Cléberson Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cléberson Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodolfo Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. If Germano Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Bastos in the 62nd minute of play forced Guayanazes SC's goalkeeper Cléberson Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Guayanazes SC defense, Edvaldo Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléberson Breckenfeld. The Guayanazes SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléberson Breckenfeld should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd match minute, Pirikitos de Água Doce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play, Pirikitos de Água Doce's Germano Teixeira made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Breckenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Pirikitos de Água Doce booed when Guayanazes SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felippe Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Pirikitos de Água Doce were the better team. Pirikitos de Água Doce's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
