In the 4th match minute, Pirikitos de Água Doce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardinho Monteiro having to make a save. Rodolfo Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Serginho Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Arnaldo da Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Dé Vidal. Pirikitos de Água Doce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Zé Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dé Vidal was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Bastos made the kick off in the second half. Serginho Secco struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Dé Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bugi SS. After some careless play in the Bugi SS defense, Luisão Mumbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardinho Monteiro. The Bugi SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Monteiro should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Pirikitos de Água Doce's Felippe Arce got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ricardinho Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germano Teixeira went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo da Silveira in the 70th minute of play forced Pirikitos de Água Doce's goalkeeper Dé Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardinho Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Cordeiro in the 71st minute of the match. Bugi SS's Ricardinho Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Bugi SS from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Pirikitos de Água Doce defense, Arnaldo da Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dé Vidal. The Pirikitos de Água Doce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé Vidal should have stopped the shot. When Luisão Mumbach came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Pirikitos de Água Doce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Mumbach couldn't finish the play. Serginho Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dé Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bugi SS's zone, Germano Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Monteiro came out of the goal and Germano Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Monteiro having to interfere. Luisão Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodolfo Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Pirikitos de Água Doce left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bugi SS.
