Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kiko de Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Itacaja FC booed when Pirajuia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Décio Lima during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pirajuia's Décio Lima got a free kick in the 6th minute. Juarês de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Zé Roberto Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirajuia's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Roberto Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês de Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Itacaja FC's zone, Kiko Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês de Godoy came out of the goal and Kiko Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zé Roberto Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itacaja FC's Juarês de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Mendonça in the 15th minute of play. Zé Roberto Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Zé Roberto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juarês de Godoy came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Pirajuia's Kiko Salles. But to his dismay, Kiko Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Kiko de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Salles in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês de Godoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Pirajuia's goalkeeper Mauro Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Donato. After the first half Pirajuia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kiko Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. Itacaja FC's Juarês de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Salles in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Kiko de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mauro Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kiko Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Juarês de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês de Godoy made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Zé Roberto Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Itacaja FC's Juarês de Godoy got control of the ball when Zé Roberto Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 played minutes Itacaja FC got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Trancoso. Zé Roberto Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Juarês de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko Salles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juarês de Godoy came out and tried to block the shot, but Kiko Salles slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 76th minute. When Reginaldo Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirajuia's protests and gave Reginaldo Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute Itacaja FC were awarded a corner. Ezequiel Fernandez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Itacaja FC's Cássio de Lara to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauro Simão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 87th minute Kiko Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiko Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juarês de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Pirajuia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itacaja FC throughout the match.
