Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Dracena started the match with the kick off. Diogo Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Gregory having to interfere. In the 5th minute Claudinho Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darin Gregory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Diogo Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Pelotas-RS's zone, Nuno Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Pelotas-RS's Cícero Freitas got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Bull Pelotas-RS! Catete's Kléber Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Dracena in the 17th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Red Bull Pelotas-RS's Kléber Torres threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Dracena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 25 minutes into the match, Red Bull Pelotas-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Amaral came free, but Darin Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Dracena in the 31st minute of play forced Catete's goalkeeper Kléber Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kléber Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Leopoldo Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull Pelotas-RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magno Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magno Zanette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Catete's Magno Zanette got a free kick in the 37th minute. Darin Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Amaral in the 39th minute of play. Luís Fernando Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fernando Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Luís Fernando Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinho Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Catete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Leopoldo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Dracena's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Catete's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Dracena came free, but Kléber Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darin Gregory came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Catete's Diogo Mazza. But to his dismay, Diogo Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Diogo Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Darin Gregory made a huge save. Darin Gregory was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Claudinho Amaral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudinho Amaral really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 92 minutes into the match, Catete's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Dracena came free, but Kléber Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Celsinho Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catete and the Red Bull Pelotas-RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celsinho Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Catete were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Red Bull Pelotas-RS's much stronger midfield.
